If I'm home on the weekends, I'll just put all the ingredients into the breadmaker tin, choose the dough setting and then let it work its magic while I go and do something else. In just under two hours, the machine beeps at me and then I roll out the dough (enough for two pizzas) and bake them without toppings. If time allows, I fill it up again for another batch and then more if time allows. Often if I'm home for a full day, then I make up to 8 bases! I wrap the bases in foil or cling wrap, then stack them in the freezer. The bases stack fairly flat and so are easy to store.
I buy plain flour in 5kg bags (around $12.oo I think) and we get a lot of bases from that flour so it's a great money-saver in our house.. I also buy Lowan's yeast in the sealed tube as it is more economical than the individual sachets. Tip: store your yeast in the freezer for a longer product life once opened.
You can find the recipe for homemade pizza dough here and there are lots of recipes in the app for a variety of different pizzas.
